Problem with 2013 Mirage original navi headunit.

Hi guys! I'm glad to find this forum, in search for advice and tips for me to keep my car in mint condition in the future. If there is someone out there with advice and solutions, please explain well because my knowledge about cars is scarce.

My factory headunit have some problems. When I start the car and the "OK safety warning button" should appear, the screen freezes and the "Ok button" dont appear. The strange thing is that when the car is heated up after a while, the "Ok button" appears and allows me to press it and enter the menu in the headunit. Then inside the meny, I cant use bluetooth etc. The only function that is working is the CD player, when screen is tilted and a cd is inserted.

What do you guys think, any advice? here who had similar problems? Known problem at these headunits? What is the headunits model name? Is there a "reset to factory" function on these headunits, or does disconnecting the battery the same job?

Hello Larvelus and welcome to the forum.

It's a shot in the dark, but does this describe your symptoms at all?

Or see your Mitsubishi service manager. At least here stateside our dealer network has recognized this as a problem and are taking steps to address it.

PS: If you get a used display unit, it might have the same problem.
