    Talking Love my Mirage!

Hi! Just drove my Mirage 1.2L ES CVT for the first time in heavy snow. This car is absolutely GREAT for snow covered roads. The car pulls straight under acceleration and feels very stable. Ive had the car almost a week now and so far love it. I drive 48 miles to work each day and this car drives and feels better than my Honda Fit that I traded in. Thumbs up from me for the navigation's nice big screen, and the climate control, the car warms up really fast and is ready to go quickly. Having the remote start installed Monday can't wait! Wow also love the FAST key too, always had key access to my cars and think this is great key fob stays in my pocket no more fumbling for keys. Out!

    Hey Don,
Congrats on your new Mirage my fellow Buckeye! Glad to hear that the car does well in snow and winter weather. My fiancé is from Cleveland and doesn't miss those conditions at all!!! Where in Ohio are you? What color is your ES?

Now that's interesting - not something I'd have expected to hear. Care to elaborate a bit more? I'm curious to find out what you like more about the Mirage vs. the Honda.

    Welcome to the forum!

    Darin

Wow hello and welcome! Nice to hear that the car does so well in heavy winter condition despite the fact that it's built by a tropical land.

Welcome to the site Don. Its great to have another Mirage owner here, especially such a happy one.

48 mile commute, thats a doozie!

Well the Honda did have 70000 miles on it so maybe I don't remember what it drove like new! LOL. Also the new car smell may be mesmerizing me somewhat.

OK. Well, if you think of anything specific worth mentioning, there is another member who's considering the Fit vs. the Mirage right now...

48 miles - is that round trip or each way for you?
