    Remove/Replace 2017 G4 Steering wheel

Hello all! I'm wanting to buy the OEM steering wheel with the controls on it and exchange it with my current basic steering wheel (without the controls) that I currently have. Any advice and/or instructions on how easy it would be to do? I also just put in the OEM carplay radio as well, would i be able to control it from the steering wheel or need a specific cord?

Took a bit of searching, but found the thread I read a while back explaining how to remove the airbag from the wheel. For the rest, someone else would need to chime in.

Yeah, you have to remove the air bag, then there's a nut or bolt in the center... I can't remember which. Take that off, unplug the connectors, and pull the steering wheel off. The few times I did this on a Mirage the wheel came right off but you may need a steering wheel puller which you can get at AutoZone or whatever.

I don't have a walk through or pictures because air bags are dangerous and I'm not getting blamed for someone blowing their face off with one hahaha.

Okay thank you all so much! Does anyone know if the connectors will fit from the steering wheel into the car?

On the airbag itself? I'd have to see it again but I believe you pop up the tab in the center of the connectors and they come right off. That's going purely off memory though.
