    Interesting! Someone double check me on this...

    100Ps = 99 horsepower
    148Nm = 109 ft-lbs torque

    That's a 48% increase in torque over the 1.2 gas version.

    I'm not an EPA expert, but from everything I can find, Euro-4 compliance would not be enough to get that engine certified for sale in the United States.

    The Mirage in the US can only get bigger, fatter, more complex, and more expensive. I would KILL for a diesel Mirage.

    You mean a manual diesel right lol? That much of an increase in torque would probably make the CVT version as reliable as a Nissan.

    I would also throw money at a Manual Diesel Mirage... but I don't have high hopes for this coming to the US and Canada after the VW Emissions scandal.

    Diesel is just a bad word for many people now, and the cost to get the engine to pass EPA regulations would probably be cost prohibitive to the design (SCR or a NOx trap).

    Well.. the website URL in the ad doesn't work - in fact it's available if anyone wants to buy it.

    Late April Fools joke?

    Also: splitting to a new thread.

    Rated 16.9 km/L (city) fuel consumption.
    That is 39.8 mpg. Fake. A diesel is supposed to be more economic than a petrol engine, not less.
