No, the car is not being sold. for that he is too good and too frugal for me. I just want to do this for myself.
You cannot. The mileage is stored in the gauge cluster itself, not in your ECU. So if you want to change the mileage you will need to swap the gauge cluster.
Short of that, you will need to take out your current gauge cluster, find the EEPROM on the circuit board that stores the information, dump it, probably decrypt then decode it, make the appropriate changes, then reflash the EEPROM with the new values.
this can be done, there's a place here at PH they can alter KMS reading we have a customer who bought a new cluster but he likes to retain the original mileage we bring it to them less than 5 mins its done i dont know how did they do it but they disassemble it they only get the board, and also i know a guy who can do it, his also doing my etacs coding my car have a reverse tone, if only where neighbors.
I would like to download the software but apparently I don't have an "approved" e-mail address, and I don't know what engine model was installed in the Lancer Evolution 10 (why would I?).

A note To kolyandex: the link you provided for the MUT Coding Mitsubishi tool no longer works...the server appears to be down, and has been for a couple of days now.
