    - Mitsu's performance fans will be sad to hear the company has no plans to pursue a sports/performance vehicle
    - The US will see a focus on SUV's & crossovers
    - The company has announced cooperation with Nissan/Renault to bring a D-segment car (Galant) to the US, but there's no decision on whether to cooperate or produce the C-segment (Lancer) on their own

Hey MetroMPG, you keep track of sales. Did these sales predictions meet expectations? Not sure where to check for 2017 anyway.

A good site to use for Auto sales is goodcarbadcar.com. here is the link for Mitsubishi sales:

It looks like they have a ways to go before hitting 150k. Looks like about 100k so far this year.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

102,946 for 2019 year-to-date if my math is correct. I'm guessing Mitsubishi might be able to notch another 10k in sales - not quite what they wanted back in 2013.

On the other hand, Mitsubishi has been through a lot since then.

Seems like 150k was a bit of a pipe dream. But hey, you gotta set goals, right??

    USA:

Mitsubishi's fiscal year 2016 sales closed with over 100,000 sales for the first time since 2007
    https://media.mitsubishicars.com/rel...ry=fiscal+2016

    2017:

The company's business in the United States also turned in a strong performance with sales of 104,000 for the year, an 8% increase on 2016
^ That's a calendar year comparison, where the previous one was fiscal year (ending in March).

    2018:
closed the 2018 calendar year with its best sales since 2007. With 118,074 vehicles sold, total 2018 sales represented an increase of 13.9 percent over calendar year 2017.

Yeah it's fun sometimes to circle back and review how things turn out.

Mitsubishi appears to be heading in the right direction anyway, though rather slowly. Even though they were counted out here in North America.

    Thanks for the figures.

I wish they would bring trucks back to the US market. I want a MT tuck again so bad... I find it funny though I was talking with some coworkers and they asked when Mitsubishi started selling cars in the US again. People see to really be noticing the Eclipse Cross.
