Lightbulb Changing to Auto to Manual Climate Control

Just wanted to ask if it is any way possible to change from Automatic Climate control to manual. I honestly don't like all the buttons and I would prefer the knobs instead. I know that there is motor solenoids that moves the vent position around and outside and inside air coming in. Wiring harnesses are going to be different too I think. And yes, the cables to manually change stuff too. I have the manual controls on my 2000 Plymouth Neon and I sure miss it. It's probably possible, but not easy. So any information would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.

I think the best bang for your buck is to get a different car... the issues changing stuff is going to be cost prohibitive,,,unless you have a doner car... Just my thoughts.... Roger

Should be possible, I have a thread digging into it somewhere here. If you can wait a month or two my project and how to write up should be done and any uncertainties cleared up.

I was already was trading parts with Wallythacker, but Bryced contacted me a while back looking to trade his manual controls for auto. He's in St Louis IIRC, maybe you can trade parts with him. Roadtrips!

I have auto on my 2014 and manual climate control on my G4. I honestly prefer the manual.
