Speaking of that if you use the 25% off coupons on Advanced Auto Parts you can get the ScanGuage II for like $120 and free shipping.

    Jhelinski,
. . . . The air bag is not in the A-pillar. It is in the headliner above the doors. The A-pillar trim comes off when the bag deploys but it is restrained by a strap. Ask me how I know about this.

Yes it is. Or rather it extends halfway into the A pillar

    Jhelimski,
. . . . Hum! Yours does. My 2019 didn't have the bag in the A-pillar. It was one long bag that extended above the tops of the doors in the headliner. I know because I hit a deer in WY on I-90 and the Drivers Side Curtain bag, Drivers Seat Bag, and the Drivers Seat Belt all deployed. The A-pillar trim blew off but it was restrained by a strap. Interesting. That was an ES Hatch. My replacement is also a 2019 but it is an ES Sedan. What model is yours?

According to his forum Garage entry, it's a 2018 GT.

Now you can make a Garage entry yourself!

    Eggman,
. . . . A different year and model. Like I said the side curtain air bag of my car is installed about the doors.

That's odd. Looks a lot like our 2015 and 2017's. Maybe they built them different for that one car lol.

I honestly wouldn't mind an A-pillar gauge pod. Would likely have Oil Pressure, Water Temp, and Battery?

We are comparing apples to oranges here. The Mirage is different and I don't believe that it would be a problem to place a gauge cluster on the A-Pillar. Well I now have almost 16K miles on my Mirage. I had it serviced yesterday at White Bear and then went to Des Moines to get some Krispy Kreme donuts. I drove about 700 miles yesterday.
