    I just reused the o-ring on the canister that holds the aux filter. Anyways I just wanted to post this info for DIYers out there who may be leery about messing with a CVT. I will update this once I have driven a while on the Valvoline fluid.
    What part of the Commonwealth are you in? Nice to see another Kentuckian. Thanks for the info, I need to do this to my newly acquired CVT as well. I have the Valvoline and pan filter, but havent sourced the aux filter yet.

    Update: Car is driving just fine on Valvoline CVT fluid and ebay filters.

    Yeah my Aamco guy used the Nissan cvt filter for both our Mirages.

    Late Update: Car is still driving fine on Valvoline CVT fluid and ebay filters. Haven't noticed any difference in anything at all.
