Rear Plate Light

This is my V1 fix. It was slightly too long, the lights were a bit too far back, and the lights should be mounted 180 degrees from how they are. The locating pin interfered since I forgot to make a hole for them.

I'm printing V2 now. It shouldn't rust now and it pops right into place with the plastic clips.

Well, its all done. I'll take a look at it again when its dark, but it popped right in this time. One light is still backwards though. I mirrored the part incorrectly. Oh well. Unless it totally messes up the lighting on the plate it'll do just fine. I did fix the design for the future though.





I also went ahead and replaced the bulbs with LEDs. I figured I might as well as I had them on hand.

Looks pretty darn good even with the backwards light. Done!
