    Exclamation Bad Things Are Happening... :(

    l got my ebay grill today and it didn't fit...trimmed the tabs, then the whole grill was shot....so then l sprayed the original chrome grill with taillight tint and applied even dark coats, it is now curing...will have to wait till the morning to see how much damage was done Stupid grill...was supposed to be one and done...sadly not all things go according to plan...

    The original grill got sprayed with vht nightshade and looks like a black chrome actually came out good will post a pic tomorrow.

    Sounds like you were able to get the results you wanted just not in the way you planned.

    The matte ebay grill looked sooo good! But it was cheap and you really get what you pay for...as soon as l fitted it to the bumper the tabs broke if l need to l will have a custom shop wrap the grill to look better lol

    Had to have a shop re-paint the grill...2 and a half days and $620 later...they painted it matte black and it looks better than the color l used before...expensive lesson...know what you're doing...

    They had to remove the paint l put on, plus they had to remove the bumper which was more...l can remove the suspension...refit an engine...and strip it down to bare metal...but one thing l've always had difficulty was painting...hopefully this serves as a cautionary post to warn that prep work is absolutely necessary when painting...
