New Electric Car for $930 ($1,200 with batteries) surprises reviewers!

I thought this $1,200 electric car may interest our Mirage crowd. Keep in mind - a stripped down golf cart starts around $4,000 & most are between $5,000 - $10,000.

Interior, suspension, & steering is a pleasant surprise. Would you expect coilovers, rear view camera, & aluminum wheels on a $1,200 car?

An electric Mirage may have some serious competition here!

Are those actually road-legal, considering they are basically golf carts in terms of power?

Here's another one but bigger than a golf cart and same tire size as Mirage. Kandi K27, $13k after federal tax credit, launch date August 18, U.S. deliveries promised Q4 2020. Sales will initially focus on Dallas-Fort Worth - interesting choice. More info at kandiamerica.com.

    Diy

Or you could make your own road-legal EV out of forklift & golf cart parts and a dead Geo Metro for a thousand bucks like a buddy and I did ...

That would be fun to try. I know where there's an old electric forklift sitting around that hasn't been used in years.......But I have no money, space or time
