    Yellowing/Oxidation on Headlights

When I was washing my car the other day, I noticed a slight hazy coating starting on the upper half of my headlights. Now I'm not talking about heavy yellowing or thick oxidation you see on many older cars, but definitely the starting of it. I thought I would try just a headlight polish to remove the oxidation present. I bought Rain-x brand. It was super easy, and they look like newish again. It's not for highly oxidized headlights by any means, just to polish as way a light coating. I did each one twice. Super easy and recommended. I just thought some of you would be interested in knowing.

I knew there was a product for this specific purpose. Didn't know the name. My Dad has a bottle that he used for his '91 Toyota RV. My Mirage's headlamps haven't had any oxidization yet. Which is surprising for being a 2014.

Yeah, mine wasn't oxidizing bad. Close up and you could see a haze. Not anymore on this SE!

Nice front bug guard or whatever plastic car bra. I put new deer whistles on my grille the other day.

It's a Plastic shield made in the North actually and had it shipped here, more aesthetic than function though.

For sure, I like the looks of the shield. I have stone chips on my hood there that could use covering up. So an upgrade for the aesthetics too, pretty much.
