I mean he lives in LA. I might have extra security too on account I'd be worried about a vagrant sleeping and defecating in my Mirage. Have you seen the tent cities out there? Skid row is alot bigger than it used to be.
Factory keyless does NOT have an alarm. The car does have an immobilizer key though so it won't start by crossing wires.

True. The homeless situation has spread to other parts of LA as well, except Beverly Hills because the rich people pay the big bucks to law enforcement to make sure no one can camp out in their sidewalks. It’s quite sad actually. When you enter Skid Row, it’s like you’re entering a different world, just one block away from new high rises and expensive condos.

That's a chip key so that can be $$$ to replace. You can get a cheap extra key cut that will just unlock the car but not start the engine.
