I'm just trying to enable the Foglights as I bought some aftermarkets off of eBay. What am I doing wrong? Is there another program I can use instead? I tried using MMCodingWriter but don't see a foglight option anywhere.
Hello timmydnx2 and welcome to the forum.
While there are several forum members here who have used Earl Vadim's ETACS Decoder program, we don't provide technical support for it. Your best bet is to ask Earl Vadim himself. And it is my understanding that support is vague and confusing.
I haven't used ETACS Decoder, mostly because I don't want to jeopardize my warranty coverage. Hopefully someone with experience will chime in to help you out.
While it's not the first instance I've heard ETACS Decoder being problematic, this might be the first time I've heard it didn't recognize the vehicle. If it's any consolation, at least you got that far. Some users have trouble establishing communication with their vehicle.
