Sounds like a Honda Civic size tire.

I think I'm just gonna go with steel wheels (sorry Dirk) since alloy is gonna cost at least $600.
    If I get these

what kind of lug nuts/bolts do I need to get?

This 2017 Mirage has been at LKQ in your area for a month. Maybe the wheels/tires are still available?

14" aluminum wheels are $35/each including a $5 core charge. I don't know what they would charge for the tires.

At $35/each, that’s only a few dollars less than new ones. Shouldn’t I just buy the new ones then?

By 'new ones' are you referring to the Dorman aftermarket rims? The answer lies in how much you value using OEM equipment designed for your car versus some generic substitute.

Hey its your money and those steelies will look just fine. Just keep spray painting them black with a gloss finish and get you some chrome lugnuts and your good. Keep in mind though its only a $20 difference between the Vision Cross and what your getting.

No. Plus those will have the OE TPMS sensors. Do that.

You are comparing a $35 steel rim to $149 factory rim.

    https://www.autorimshop.com/mitsubis...QaAo9oEALw_wcB

You are missing the point here. If you can get alloy factory rims for a few dollars less than cheap steel rims, you have found a huge bargain! You are comparing $150 steel rims to $600 alloy rims (that can be had for a lot less than new steel rims).

I paid $40 just to replace a lost Mirage hub cap for my steel wheels, & it was used. If you could find a good deal on factory alloy rims, I would not pay extra for cheap steel ones! I would make sure the lug nuts come with the use alloy wheels, too.

Personally, I like the looks of this factory alloy wheel that was designed for a Mirage (14" x 4.5") better than any aftermarket wheel I have seen anyone share on this forum. I am not a big fan of adding 6"+ wide rims on a Mirage unless you know for certain you are going to use 185 or plus wide tires.

If I was sticking with 165/65r14 (22.4") or 175/65r14 (23") tires, these factory rims would be my 1st choice. Especially, if the price was right!
