Talking 17" Wheels and 205/40r17 Tires for Sale!

    Hi,

I have a set of 17" wheels and 205/40r17 tires. Tires are brand new! Less than 500 miles. Wheels have scratches and black coating on the outside that's peeling at some places. They're still on my car as of now, but I'm in the process of getting new ones so if you're interested, we can work out a time

You are kidding, right? I mean, why not advertise them here. So they aren't working out for him, they might be exactly what someone else is looking for.

Should be interesting. Here's hoping someone picks them up.

He just posted pics of possible body damage from the wheels, not sure how that translates to other Mirage owners wanting them? Now on ebay he might find a Mini Cooper owner or a Suzuki SX4 owner whose ride has a way tighter rear suspension to handle wheels like these. But fobbing them off to another Mirage owner? After what he's shown us? No thanks.

All good points. I like your sensibilities here. If the set won't work for you, then by all means be sure not to buy them. But there might be someone else who thinks they would be great.

Who else might be interested in these tires? I've seen customization ideas that make these tires look mild by comparison:

    [Engine swap] 4G63 into a 2014 Mirage (2L turbo)

Modifying a mirage I am not crazy this is my unsual show car to prove it

New member but big projects !

6th Gen Mirage: Tuner/Power Programmer/ECU/Piggyback. Where are we now?

Live4Redlines ECU Tuning Attempt (Work in Progress)

Mirage EV conversion: getting everything working without the engine

    There's more!

    Turbo off Smart?

    Anyone gone turbo?

    Rotory?

Engine Coolant Temperature!! (Is there a way to display it?) (Forum member Mechanic shares loads of ideas for his Mirage in this thread.)

I'm interested in the wheels, I see they're on a Mirage. Do you think they'd cause any issues while taking my Mirage off some sweet jumps?

Not if you put in a turbo instead of a 4 cylinder swap.

You know what your right. We might one day get a Mirage owner whose willing to install a 4k dollar hydralic lift system, Ice Cube style, and would just love these wheels.
