The ICE version of the I is actually smaller than the battery version.

There are a few i-MiEVs that are in my city, but they are far more common in Quebec, as they have generous EV incentives and their electricity is dirt cheap (and all hydro power).
Every time I see one I'm reminded just how similar cars currently look to one another in 2020.
People love to hate on the Mitsubishi i for looking like a bug-eyed Manga Toaster on wheels, but I rather appreciate it's weirdness and ruthless efficiency & dedication to maximum interior space, it's a shame it didn't sell very well.
Plus it kind of looks like it's from the Jetsons!
The range wouldnt be ideal for roadtrips unfortunately. Theres no way Id be able to drive from Atlanta to Charleston, SC. There is simply no charging stations off the highways in the deep south until you get to a bigger city, and they are spread out out here. Whats the iMev range? 250 miles? Fugettaboutit!
The i-Miev is a city commuter car. The range is under 100 miles I think.
-Karl B. No Mirages currently...
i-MiEV range is 60 miles from the factory. Almost a week's worth of commuting for me.
YMMV LOL.
