Welcome to the site. I look forward to seeing what you do with the Mirage. With the right mods I think it could be a very fun car, and a great sleeper.

Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

Already got the spare engine, gonna start tearing it down to see if we can find any crosscompatible pistons/rods and such

As you know the aftermarket is limited enough as it is - we need to encourage people to share their custom builds.

Only request is that you keep us updated instead of just directing visits to your FB page or website when there's some new progress to report.

This is going to be fun.

Thanks for the pointers! I'll try to keep the info in both places, and just ask people to like my pages in the post, but keeping the useful info here too. Thanks again!

I got it two weeks ago lol

I'm thinking about either chopping the cam sensor up and fitting an external trigger, or waiting on the mechanic to pull the crank sensor so we can have an aftermarket ECU company make a decoder for the stock wheel.

I already have the turbos to be used, but it's not like this'll take 3 weeks to be done yknow

Believe me, I get it. I've seen many similar initiatives fade away.

Looking forward to all the updates & progress along the way.

Since the people demand updates, today we tore down the extra 3A92 I got, and I snapped a few pics. The crank wheel is a 36-2-1-1, the cam is a 4+1 trigger.

I contacted Maxspeedingrods to see if I can ship a rod out to them (pictured), and we ordered some pistons that we think might just fit. Besides that, we're thinking about increasing the diameter of the crank cap bolts, and looking to see what bolts fit the head.

This again, is a long process, but I'm pretty confident that we can make something nice lol

got a CAD made of the stock rod, already found some pistons, need to find a compatible rod or someone that is willing to make 12 rods, cause Eagle asked me for 30 rods minimum to make a custom run lol

I also got a Daox sway bar and some springs! Gonna install those this week

These are the turbos that will be used, I think i'll have to make some aluminum rods locally because I'm not going to order 30 rods for one car lol

But Eagle said to contact them after January, so once I have the car running on the aluminum rods, I'll use them till they crap out lol
