Talking to a guy without a press. Which is why I had to get my hubs replaced by a shop...
EDIT: Maybe I can pull the LCA out and just have them press the joint out.

its easier to replace the whole LCA, but if the shop have a special tools for removing the ball joint it can be done without removing the LCA.
This video gives you an idea of how you can replace a ball joint without removing the entire control arm...
I haven't looked closely at the control arms on a Mirage but I assume they can be pressed out.

Nice find on that video. But I feel like the extra $ is worth it on just replacing the LCA.
Also, isnt there any other bushing on the LCA that gets replaced when a new one is purchased?
There are 2 rubber bushing pressed into the control arms which should already be installed if you buy a new control arm. Being in Texas(I assume) your rubber might be dried up and junk a lot sooner than up here.

Exactly. Between (what I perceive as extra work) removing the ball joints, replacing the other bushings on the LCA may also have benefits.

but also, maybe its your chance to upgrade to polyurethane bushings.
