What about the third brake light? Where I live the car would fail inspection without the third functioning light and you would get stopped sooner or later and be ticketed? Are you modifying a third light?

It's only illegal if you get caught. Out here I've heard of people getting ticketed for not having working daytime running lights. Anything newer than 1990 must have them here.

It didn't show up very well in black. I made it cardboard beige instead and added fancy red tuck tape(house sheathing tape) to all the seams Attachment 18640
