I prefer the homemade ramp to anything I have seen on the market. You can custom make your ramps to fit to your particular car. You can add or remove boards to change the height, too.

This guy does a very nice job of showing how he made homemade ramps for his vehicle with the lowest front end.

Wood ramps are solid, stay in place pretty well when driving up them, & aren't all that expensive to make. A 2" x 8" is 1.5" thick. 5 boards will give you approximately 7.5" of lift. I made ramps with 3 boards giving me 4.5" of lift. If I wanted lift more some day, I could add more boards to what I already have.

I like this video, because I cut the end of my boards at an angle, too. His approach on how long to make each board is smart, too. Build it one board at at time with your lowest front end vehicle. Very smart approach in my mind!

Ironically, he has a car lift in his garage.

These things are amazingly well-engineered and made in the USA. These are the gold-standard of the automotive ramp industry. Anyone who owns a Corvette, Porsche, Viper, etc. is likely using these. If you ever watch the SEMA show on TV, take a look at every car that is elevated off the floor. Chances are it is sitting on a set of Race Ramps. Here's an extreme 2-piece ramp in action...

I'm not saying you need to spend $250 to lift your Mirage. I'm just letting you know that there are other options out there.

I would like to see a Mirage fit on those red ramps!

If I were buying ramps, I would pick Race Ramps over most plastic or metal ramps on the market.

I just like being able to tell people that I can build wooden bird houses and car ramps!!!!

"Overboard" - I'd say! That would take a pile of boards to build!

So talked to Sunnyside body shop and Sunnyside Mitsubishi at 8am this morning...yeah-my fenders have to be replaced to install the aftermarket side skirts...bought some ebay universal end cap skirts and canards so l will have to remove the factory skirts as they are now hanging on by the bolts as the 3m tape is gone on them...going to clean them off and use either a waterproof glue/sealer for the ebay side skirts...or drill underneath to fasten the side skirts to the car (Not sure about the latter)...never liked drilling but you can definitely see the gap from the side and my OCD won't let me leave it
