I prefer the homemade ramp to anything I have seen on the market. You can custom make your ramps to fit to your particular car. You can add or remove boards to change the height, too.

Wood ramps are solid, stay in place pretty well when driving up them, & aren't all that expensive to make. A 2" x 8" is 1.5" thick. 5 boards will give you approximately 7.5" of lift. I made ramps with 3 boards giving me 4.5" of lift. If I wanted lift more some day, I could add more boards to what I already have.
I like this video, because I cut the end of my boards at an angle, too. His approach on how long to make each board is smart, too. Build it one board at at time with your lowest front end vehicle. Very smart approach in my mind!
Ironically, he has a car lift in his garage.
