    radio in hot weather

Hi All, I have a 2015 mirage DE. Have had this issue a few times, when its hot out, like today over 90, car sits in a work parking lot, windows closed, I go out to it and the radio is off, heat/AC work just fine. Screen is blank. In a few minutes of open windows it will come on, either driving or just sitting and letting the interior cool down. Only happens in the heat, otherwise works fine, over the 4 years I've had it, radio "cut out" 2-3 times going over a bump, never really bothers me because it comes back on LOL. I don't know if anyone has seen this or thinks they are related. Thanks for any input.

The fusebox by your left knee is where the radio fuse is enclosed in a yellow plastic guide. There have been numerous instances in where that particular fuse wasn't pushed in all the way creating intermittent issues. I'd start there first. Oh, and where have ya been for the last 4 years? You've been registered since 2016. That's some deep lurking lol.

Thanks, I'll check that, yes I tend to lurk a bit, if I had something to contribute I certainly would, love these forums, use them for car and truck issues all the time. Just usually find the answer and go at it. I'll try to be better LOL.

Had same exact problem. Pushed those fuses in, heard them snap into place, and never had the issue again. I was in for the airbag recall and asked Service about the issue, they couldn't duplicate it. Weeks later, I found the solution, then told them about it and the guy looked at me like I was crazy.

Could that also cause the airbag light to come on in hot weather?
