    Gas Cap

Had to purchase a new gas cap for 2017 Mirage SE and boy did I luck out at my local Auto Zone. It’s a long story of why I needed one but let’s keep it at it was my fault. I was near an Advanced Auto and they did not have a new one in stock and none of their stores did either . I went to my local Auto Zone and nothing was coming up on their computers for a match. The counter guy said let’s grab a few and see what fits. The first one he tried was perfect. According to the store employees Mitsubishi blocks access by paying companies so they can’t match up parts. Makes sense as it’s hard to find anything at a local parts store. Here is the link if anyone needs it. https://www.autozone.com/fuel-delive...archText=6825a

Replaced my Mirage's & Outlander Sport/ASX/RVR OEM gas cap with this locking gas cap and no issues whatsoever.

Locking gas cap? Most new cars don't have gas caps these days. What do those folks do? The inside release for the gas filler door is more security than some cars have.
