    Dash kit for aftermarket radio?

I have the factory non-nav radio and want to replace it. Seems I can't find any kits for it.

Did anyone else have any luck?

(P.S. Just found this forum, looks nice)

I've been wanting to do this too. But unfortunately, theres not much aftermarket support for this car yet. So an aftermarket dash kit will be hard to find right now. I was even considering calling a Mitsu dealer and asking parts how much a stereo dash piece would cost for the Mirage with a Navi, and just use that. I figured it might be kinda pricey but I never really got around to calling. Another option would be to find a good stereo shop to custom fit the aftermarket stereo but thats another pricey option. At least I would think.

That seems expensive considering it'll probably be $20-30 in a few months. And the shipping time on it makes it so a kit might be out by then.

I actually asked Metra, they said if you have the nav you do not need anything extra. The nav is a standard double DIN head unit. So, I called the dealer and ordered the brackets for $10. The trim panel though was around $160, so I didn't get that. I think I'll ghetto it up (no trim piece) until someone comes out with an aftermarket kit and just pop on the trim and go.
