I got the microphone wire from a 2017 lancer. I just need to know where to connect the microphone to. I have an idea but just want to make sure. Do you still have the wiring diagram for it? I already have the radio so can’t go back now. Here a couple of pictures

I'm sorry I totally do not remember. I'm pretty sure it was wired properly in the dashboard itself so you just need to add the wires that go from the microphone up in the map lights down the a pillar and to the connector for that wherever it hooks into the dash harness.

Hi I connected the microphone to the radio. It doesn’t say microphone has a bad connection anymore. But when I make a call they still can’t hear me. Nobody have any ideas?

Ok guy I figured it out. So I ran the microphone wire all the way to the radio. I connected the three wires to this part number 8755A129. Blue wire is Mic - Pink is Mic + the Red is Shield. The important part is to connect the red to the purple wire. make sure your wires coming from the microphone is shielded. It will not work if it’s not. All I did was ran aluminum foil on the blue and green wire together and tape it.
