For everyone who doesn't know what pipe we're talking about...here are a couple of pics with the intake removed so you can see it...

And here's what it looks like if you are trying to find it on your own engine...

I'm curious to see where the rust is a problem.

here’s the culprit. I’m near Pittsburgh, how aren’t you Ohio guys dealing with the same rust I am? I bought this thing new. It’s never been flooded with salt water even though it looks like it. Name: 50A2F854-4263-4BF7-A82B-3459211D8564.jpeg

    Wow...that looks pretty rough!

I just went out and looked at mine. This is a garage-kept 2015 with 90,000 southern-Ohio-driven miles. We probably don't get the snow/salt you guys get around Pittsburgh. Keep in mind my car has been treated with Krown so that's probably helping.

It doesn't look good, but some of the photos in this thread don't look great, either:

This is where your Mirage is going to rust out

Is your car garaged at all, or is it outside 24/7?

Ok. Ordered this one. $80 shipped. Some of the ones you guys posted were a few bucks cheaper but I don’t trust oddball websites that don’t take PayPal. Buying with PayPal from sites I don’t recognize has saved my ass more than once. We’ll see if the Chrysler part is the same. Hopefully this one doesn’t get canceled.
