Cruise Control on a Australian 2014 Mirage Manual

Hi I'm new here and have been searching through for a while now.
I have bought and fitted cruise control switch, 4 pin brake switch, clutch switch and all wiring required as aus market doesn't have fitted at all. Activated cruise with MUT coding Mitsubishi software and I can not get cruise control to work.
I work as a Mechanic in a Mitsubishi Dealership and have access to all manuals and the MUTlll se and scan tool and can confirm in engine coding Cruise control and Cruise Control option coding is set to Present and Accept. I have found in the engine data list the data for cruise control buttons (set, reset, cancel etc) is not in the data list like other vehicles in Mitsubishi range.

Wondering if the ECU firmware doesn't have the logic for cruise control part no is: 1860C140

Has anyone come across this and is it possible to reflash with different firmware of say and up spec model that has cruise control factory fitted.

Unfortunately even though I work in a Mitsubishi dealership this sort of information isn't available

    Thanks

Welcome to the forum, I don't have that information but I'm sure there are others who have added cruise will chime in.

    Welcome, xsplitpin!

    Just to clarify:

I have bought and fitted cruise control switch, 4 pin brake switch, clutch switch and all wiring required as aus market doesn't have fitted at all.
Was cruise available on any model of the 2014 Mirage in Australia?

I didn't think of that and I believe that is was introduced in 2016 models so I guess I'm out of luck might have to go after market. Thanks for you reply

Has anyone fitted an aftermarket kit but used the oem buttons in the steering wheel?

If not what brand aftermarket cruise should I go for? Thanks

Check the clockspring, make sure it has ten pins or two cables inside.
