You get what you pay for.

That's not real leather. It's very thin. Doesn't have perforations to stitch it through. Not saying it won't work and look nice for a while... but, not nearly as long.

Trust me, if you ever buy something along the lines of a Wheelskins cover, you'll understand. It's worth what you pay for it.

As with so many things... $50 for a wheel cover seems like a lot to me now. But, the first one I bought nearly 20 years ago was around $28-30... and with inflation, that's $50.

You get what you pay for.

I tried one of those cheaper ones once, and it was tearing out at the stitches before I even finished installing it. I ended up scrapping it.

    Simplify and add lightness.

I did not know these steering wheel covers existed til now. I always picture furry steering wheel covers. I wonder if you have to still do the stitching with the high-end Wheelskins? I bookmarked their website. Thanks, that is an interesting upgrade, and I like that I could pick the colour of the leather steering wheel.

I'm thinking of getting this. Beats wrapping some crappy hockey tape around it and looks amazing! https://www.amazon.ca/Fashion-Steeri...81886381&psc=1

Question - does that shift knob cover help with shifting??

Ha! I think that would mess up a shift bc the fluff would cover everything... And all it takes is one miss shift....bam.

I stopped shifting altogether! I highly recommend it.

I heard on a different thread that downshifting is only for towing....it's hard on the car and will make it rev to 6-7000rpm. Basically it's gonna kill the car. So now I leave it in drive permanently. No need to shift ever again. I ran a wire from the starter solenoid to a momentary switch and have a big solar panel on the roof so the battery won't die cause I can't get the key out now so it's always gonna be on accessory when parked.

I'm thinking of locking the steering wheel straight ahead next
