    Beer!

    Do you enjoy beer?

dspace9 posted this and I figured it deserved a thread of its own:

    Second favourite: Chimay, from Belgium.
I've looked for the Labatt 50 and can't find it.

Pretty sure Chimay is available here in Ohio. I'd buy some but have to make room by finishing off what I have.

    What's your favorite?

In this part of the world, Budweiser beer comes from Budweis, and Pilsner comes from Pilsen...

If you ever find yourself in Southwest Missouri, do yourself a favor and stop by Mother's Brewing Taproom. My favorite place in the country... Their Sexual Healing Nitro Milk Stout is just the best thing in the world.

Ha! Well, I would like to personally thank you for the German beer purity law which influences brewers around the world.

My little city just got its first microbrewery last year, and they're making some FINE brews. (1000 Islands Brewery) In the summer, give me a tasty amber or lager. Winter, I love me a stout or porter with other interesting flavours in the mix.

Best beer ever is to mix Natural Ice with Yerba Mate (a high caffeine tea). Mix those two 50/50

Or even just Natural Ice watered down 50% with water and ice cubes. Makes for a cheap and effective drunk that tastes like water pretty much. And drinking the extra water will prevent a hangover the next morning

Paulaner hef and Weihenstephaner hef are my go-to brews (I always have them on hand), but I ain't gonna turn down Ayinger Brauweisse or Smithwick's Red, either.

Germans make awesome beer, and once you develop a taste for it most mass-produced American beers taste like gutter water.

I drink the local Labatt beer, which happens to be a big name beer brand, still local water.. so I find the beer digests well. Some of the fancier English hard ciders I have always loved, give me terrible hangovers, where a bunch of labatt blue's or Labatt 50s would have been a good night's sleep.

I saw a Canadian Tire ad at the world series live in Texas. Canadian Tire is big in texas now?
