How are your seats in the mirage? I took an 3hr roadtrip and boy howdy do my hips hurt! I thought about taking out the front seats and putting in something more comfortable. Not sure what...but foam seats don't do well for short roadtrips.

Be wary of seat covers as Mirage's have airbags in the seats. Otherwise, I would go for the bean balls one, like your great uncle would've had in his Buick

Ok, yeah I would take out the whole seat and put something else in it if I plan to keep it for more than 3 years.

I think the 2013/14 seats are the worst of all Mirage years. The backseat is just a piece of foam, no demarcations between the 3 seats. Really 1980s Hyundai Pony feel in the back of my Mirage

I put seat covers for my back seats but the ones that came for the front weren't supportive at all. Which sucks bc l love to go on roadtrips but I'm not going long distances if my hips will suffer.

Please let us know if you find replacement front seats, especially ones that are compatible with the Mirage SRS. That has been a recurring complaint for some.

I bought new floor mats at Canadian Tire earlier today; generic fit, small driver and passenger ones for $12.99.

I am not sure they will fit. It's raining out and I'm setting up my new TV. I wonder if I might have to do some "alterations" to get the new rubber mat to fit the driver's side. Such a weird fitting on Mirages, and the 3 pedals adds to the complications down there.

Maybe draw a template and draw a line on the factory floor mats to match up with the ones you bought today. That's what I did on my Saturn Ion. Otherwise guessing will lead to not correct fitement. Trust me: My Saturn was my project car for everything...lol there's so much stuff I cut and screwed up on that car, but it still kept going ha.

Car mat is in. I struggled getting the packaging open, then I switched to my old green-handled lefty scissors, and I was done in 10 seconds. So annoying to be a lefty anyway. The mat doesn't fit quite right, so I will end up cutting part of it, but I want to drive around for a few days to get the cut just right.
