    Sorry for the delay in the response.
    I checked the air filter which looked pretty clean, but I did some vacuum anyway.
    The issue did not appear for the past week, and I kept my eyes on the RPM in each start – it’s going to 1100 right away on cold start and looks stable.
    Although it is related to Toyota, looking at this thread also makes me think that the ECM is responsible for breaking the power to the solenoid after reaching the correct RPM.
    Also, the starter code part seems to be the same for both start\ stop button cars and regular switch, which means it does not contain a mechanical part that breaks in the solenoid circuit.
    The issue first appeared after the car was sitting in the parking for a week without starting, so it could also be due to a sticky throttle the was cleaned up after driving for a while.
