    My new toy

So, I have been looking for a Mustang or something to play with (really want a Challenger but they haven't gotten cheap enough yet for my liking) and I came upon this car, which to me is just the coolest thing. I love it so much.
Let me introduce you to the Bullitt Vic. This is the car Detective Frank Bullitt would have driven through the hills of San Francisco had the movie been shot in 1998 instead of 1968
I know our buddy Top Fuel here on the forum digs the source material, but for anyone who doesn't know about the movie Bullitt, watch this clip. https://youtu.be/FJZ-BHBKyos

As for the car, it is a 1998 Crown Victoria P71 with a T45 swap, off road H-pipe with dual Flowmasters, & 3.73 Trac-Lok. All the basic Mustang goodies wrapped up in a package I can put my kids or buddys in and go cruise.

I have a couple things I want to do to it yet like a set of '01 Bullitt Mustang front seats, and eventually a PI head and intake swap, but mostly just drive the thing.

Some of you probably won't get it at all, but for the one's who do I bet you are grinning. I know I haven't stopped grinning since I brought it home.

I like it. And I get it. I would be careful how much you drop into it though.

I have this, the most similar thing to that.

I can't make up my mind to tuck it away in the garage (like Dalton did his Mercedes on Road House), or sell it, since I'm getting a mighty Mirage.

A Crown Vic with 3 pedals...that's pretty frigging cool! It looks really well done, too. Even the license plate.

I owned 2 Crown Vics and a Grand Marquis. I spent a lot of time on crownvic.net.

Here's my last Crown Vic...a 2000 model. I traded it in on a Pontiac G5 back in 2009 during Cash for Clunkers. The car lives on in a junkyard somewhere in central Ohio.

That makes me very sad. I also very much like Mercury Marauders. Cash for clunkers was so dumb...

I decided that my next used car would be a Crown Vic. Great cars!

I think anyone who can like both a Mirage & a Crown Vic at the same time displays a high level of being a well-rounded individual! I was trying to come up with something better, but this was all I had at the moment. Sorry!

It's fun owning totally different things & enjoying them both!

A Vic with a stick? Oh man, that has to be stupid amounts of fun.
