175/65R14x5"ET38 OEM to 205/50R15x7"ET40mm issues?Badlyneed help for decision making.

    Hi MirMirs,

I have an Attrage2021MY (Mirage G4) middle east domestic market. My stock wheels and tires are 175/65R14x5 ET38 and I am planning to buy aftermarket wheels 15x7 ET40. Will there be clearance issues? Also, what tire sizes will be good on this wheels? again without having clearance issues. I hope that someone gets my message and would reply me. Thanks.

I have had 205.50's in 15x6.5 Enkei wheels. They're in storage right now so I can't confirm the offset.

Stock suspension is very soft and my rear tires rubbed on the inside wheel well. I believe the front tires also rub inside when on full turn.

They did look good, though, and because of how wide the tires are, the steering wheel centers better after a turn - not to mention adds some good weight to the steering.

Yes, there will be a clearance issue with 205 tires on a Mirage.

40mm offset is reasonable. But, 185 is about the widest you can go without rubbing. 175 is a safe bet.

    Simplify and add lightness.
