How to enable "Ds" mode (Downshift) for Attrage 2017?

I have an Attrage 2017. I get to know that in some countries, it has the "Ds" mode which is efficiency when going down hills or pass a slow car. Checking the ECU wiring but it doesn't show how to wire it from ECU. Does any one know how to do this ?

    What is the B mode?

I don't know as I have a manual transmission in mine.

In my country, B is "Brake" , which is L or S in other country.
I have bought a used ECU from other country which can enable Ds mode (Downshift or Driving Sport), but still don't know how to wire it.

I'm pretty sure Ds performs the same function as B. Doesn't it simply keep the transmission from shifting to it's high range gearset?

No, they are different. B mode is too slow to pass car in low speed. Also too slow when go down hill. "Ds" will limit the speed at 60Km/h when down hill, and increase speed faster than "B" and even "D" to pass slow car.

That's interesting. I'm pretty sure we've had owners report they have used Ds to go faster than 60Km/h (37mph).

Hopefully a CVT owner will chime in for more information.

    And welcome to the forum.

Thanks Eggman! Just want to explain for Ds mode when go down hill: if we don't press the pedal, the car won't go too fast down hill, around 60km/h (we don't have to brake multiple times). And yes, if we press the pedal, it can go very fast

2017 and newer North American cars have 3 drive positions older have two...
I don’t know if anyone has tried to use the newer shifter in the older cars. Would be good to know.

In my country it has 2 drive positions only, but if we replace ECU, we can have extra "Ds' mode. Here is the shifter in Thailand for Mirage/Attrage Name: 19800802_1484383378285793_4265605201183109781_o.jpg
