Ok. I'm cheap, so I purchased a Xtros 6-drive Electronic Throttle Controller, not expecting too much.

I was wrong. It's crazy how much it changes the pedal. It's worth the money. There's a normal, a high performance, and Eco setting, each having 9 different sensitivity ratings.

The High Output setting is instant, no lag.

The Eco setting makes the car perform far slower than normal. I might try it to see how much Mpgs it yields.

Seriously, I will do a short test, and let you know my results.

No not factory like the Mirage. Like a 90s car with a physical cable, going no more no less than the pedal travel would indicate. I don't want a boosted ricey hair trigger response that is always going WOT, but responsive, without lag off idle.

Yes, it does not need to be WOT. Each setting has 9 sensitivity ratings. You can find tune to your liking.

So this doesn't mess with the electronics? I plugged a performance chip into my Saturn in HS and it messed up my ecu... Was still drivable though.

No. It works perfect. Subcompactculture installed a different brand too. He's going to write up a review too.

OK, I'll make note of this and try it next summer. Maybe I won't get tired of it after two months then.
