EVC Throttle Controller by iDrive Performance

Uncanny timing: Yet another throttle controller thread! Alex and I were actually texting back and forth about the one he bought. The one I got is an EVC controller by iDrive USA. While not on their website yet, I'm told it will be. The part number is on my website at the link below.



I actually put together a video about mine. I've quite impressed, especially in the Ultimate mode. It really makes a huge difference. There is stock mode, Economy, Ultimate, and Automatic Control which changes response based on the pedal's position.

Retail on this is $209 via iDrive. Anyway, you can read more about my impressions below.

Great review Subcompact Culture! Well the cheaper one function the same as the one you have? I'm hoping that this $75 one functions the same. I don't really want to pay $250 just to get better throttle.

I haven't actually seen the $75 generic one, so I don't know it's performance vs. this one. I do know that iDrive USA is a known entity FWIW with a proven history.

FYI, the iDrive unit is part number EVC313L. Just use the Contact form and tell them you're interested in that. Oh, black Friday deals: BFW20 for 20% off.

It looks like they make a version for 2017+ and an earlier version. The one I have is the EVC313L.
