"I get why they call it a mirage!"
Or
"where is it?, You told me it's right in front of me"
Both from my co-workers.

lol, the interest is crazy on a lot of these car loans. Since going into Accounting l calculate problems in my textbook on what some people pay and it's easily more than they can afford! Applies to real life too.

Not really a comment: but I had someone slow down after passing me today so they could take a picture.
I'm guessing it's all the coroplast stuck on it, not because they were amazed by the tiny 14" wheels.

MirageRally (11-29-2020)
Many comments over four years don't recall all.
Asked if diesel... I wish...
Best off top of my head:
Great color
Mitsu built good. Good Warranty.
Must be cheap to operate.
Positive comments once people realize how big interior is...
Negative
Embarassed driving girl car?
Wouldn't be caught dead in any Mitsu.
Hope it's your girlfriends/wife's car
How many times has the car acted up.

It’s a glorified golf cart!
(Um, ok)
It’s a go-cart!
(This might be it’s second nickname)
I love the color!
(I agree)
I did over 2k uber rides in my green Mirage so I got all kinds of comments including "I love the color. It was easy to spot!" and "Cancel the ride, we can't fit all in there."
My favorite was when as#holes order a regular uber (mostly consisting of subcompacts and compacts) and then cuss me out because I can't fit 4 passengers and all their luggage.
I don't get many comments about my Mirage. I think there are two main reasons for that.
1. Most people could care less about small cars. I live where F-150, Silverado, & Ram trucks rule. It's hard to enter the "which pickup truck is supreme debate" when owning/driving a Mirage.
2. Most people are kind & if they don't have anything nice to say, they don't say anything at all. I don't feel most people think very highly of small cars or have much interest in them. Former Metro owners are the exception. They still show an interest in 3 cylinder cars.
If someone does ask me about my Mirage, the discussion revolves around purchase price, reliability/warranty, & good economy. Whether that creates Mirage envy, I don't know? I don't have any friends or relatives buying one!
