2019 mirage 40k km slight grinding from brakes cold and slow

2019 mirage 40k km slight grinding from brakes when cold and slow.
(when applying the brake when i first pull out of my parking spot )
but as soon as i drive it a block or two and stopping once or twice, the grinding is gone.
until the next day i take the car out.
been going on for a while.
didn't see any issues from the brakes on the front when i swapped winter tires on,
( yes i completely forgot about the grinding, so didn't do a close inspection)
(the car has so little noise protection i cant tell for sure if its front or back brakes)

any ideas what i should look at when i get the carport clean?

Rust on the rotors or worn pads.

That’s surface rust on the rotors. Bet you notice it after rainy weather.
