Elon was working on a way to automate plugging in a car... I'm sure it could be modified for block heater use on a Mirage.

We've got robots at work. They simply park over a charging station with pads embedded in the floor. Once they are charged up they hit the road for more work. No intervention necessary.

Just mount an extension cord to the car at power outlet height, tape it to a broom stick and screw to hood or bumper as needed, then drive the car into the outlet. Done and done.
Or strap one of those fancy generators with remote start to the roof and run the cord as you see fit. Not only stylish but functional.

That video of the Tata auto plug in is freaky.

Interestingly, my new Mirage 5-speed ES with Dunlop tires matches my 2015 F150 2.7L Ecoboost 6-speed with Michelin LTX 245/70R-17s for the trip meter error. They each record approximately the same difference over equal distances every time (within .1 mile of each other) over different distances and each records the same percentage variance versus GPS devices and Apps every time. The actual error calculates between 1.7-1.8 percent pessimistic. So, just as I do with the truck, I'll be adding 1.5% to miles driven between top offs for mpg calculations. With respect to my first tank for record; this gives me 45.3 versus the vehicle calculated 48.2, which is a difference of 2.9 mpg or 6.4% optimistic. My next goal is to see if the vehicle calculated mpg has any sort of consistency of error versus hand calculation. With respect to my truck, it does not, but it does trend towards a higher error the higher mpg I achieve. Thanks for having this group and discussions everyone.
