You've never had snows on it??? Dude! It makes a world of difference in the white stuff. Forget "all seasons" (no seasons). You can find lots of sets of lightly used chunky 175/14's on steelies for a couple hundred bucks.

No I have never had snow tires for my Mirage, and I'm now in my 7th winter driving my Mirage. I have been meaning to buy winters. It's just for years I felt my Mirage was sooo much better than my 2 previous cars, also long-term ownership by me. I owned a vw Rabbit 1985 cabrio winter-stored from 2003 to 2011, then partially concurrently I owned my old Ford escort 1998 wagon2007 til 2014. So even with allseasons the Mirage is a huge improvement over my old cars.

Get snow tires installed then trade Mirage in for a used Ford Excursion?

I would like to say thanks to all the for the advice, help, and knowledge I have acquired from this forum.
I will post pics from some fishing and camping trips when I get out to the great outdoors this year.I STILL love my mirage. Right at 21k miles currently.

Effin spammers. Thanks Fummins for pointing this out.

Sometimes they post spam as soon as they join. N3CR0 waited almost a full year after joining before posting spam using an Anonymizing VPN. Sometimes these spammers will make a vaguely relevant post then come back later to modify it with their spamvid-diseased ways. This makes the spam difficult to detect by reading latest posts alone.

As a general note, if anyone browsing the forum finds spam links in posts old or new, bring some attention to it and we'll delete the post and ban the spammer. It's difficult to keep watch on this kind of activity but with the help of other forum members it's easier to catch the spammers and kick them off the forum.
