    PCV Valve Confusion

I've got 44,000 miles on my 2017 Mirage SE, and I'm looking into changing out my PVC valve or just cleaning it.
New ones are very expensive like all other Mitsubishi parts. Can I take it off and clean it with carburator cleaner?
I can't seem to find a cheaper price for the part. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

Carb or brake cleaner works. I bought you few from Ali.

I checked mine at about 85k and it was clean as a whistle. I wouldn't worry about it unless your car is drinking a bunch of oil. You might want to take it out and spray some carb or brake cleaner into it for peace-of-mind.

These aren't '70s 'smog cars'. They run pretty clean. I think it would take a lot of miles and engine abuse to coke up a PCV valve.
