Yes, dual-clutch. We have 3 of them (2016 Focus) in town for our driving school. The one we had the longest needed transmission work done before 15,000 miles. I am not impressed by them. Thankfully, we also have 2015 Impala that I used 90% of the time. The V6 Impala has been a nice car. I just did 4 hours of btw lessons with it this morning. Impala is much more comfortable to sit in. I feel more claustrophobic in a Focus than my Mirage. You feel more wrapped around in plastic with the Focus. The Mirage also has plastic, but there seems to be less of it.

I was quoted $17500 OTD after MSRP of $15565 for the ES 5MT 😩. Living in CA sucks.
For the same $, it can be had for the used iA, Mazda 3, Corolla, Accord, Civic and such. Not only that but fewer choices with the MT and I'm few $ away for a brand new one at MSRP in normal circumstances unlike now. Dang.
Finally 2 months in the making my 2021 Mirage 5sp hatch should arrive by the end of the week.
