    I wonder too.

In an interview of him I read a few months back, he credited Mitsu head office with being extremely clear about how many of each vehicle they could expect to receive in the coming quarters.

Richard is a member of the Mitsubishi Motors of North America's National Advisory Board whatever that means?

    https://www.whitebearmitsubishi.com/...-spotlight.htm

I don't sense Richard as your typical Mitsubishi dealership owner/general manager. A few things still impressed me about him.

Richard emailed me (once, not several times) a few months after I had inquired first about Mirages @ his dealership, & he asked what he could personally do to help me purchase a Mirage.

When I called the number he gave me, it was his cell phone. He actually picked up my call.

Richard never passed me on to one of his sales people. I asked if he could still find me a 2017 ES manual for $9,500. Even though it was October, his 2017 ES manuals were sold out, and new 2018 ES manuals were already on his lot, Richard told me how I could get a 2017 ES manual for $9,000. His next question was what are your top 3 color choices? He was already searching as I was talking to him. That was the extent of our negotiations.

Richard sent me to my local Mitsubishi dealership and told me what to compare on the ES & SE manual. Who sends you elsewhere?

In the end my only excuse was I could not get to their dealership during their open hours. I also didn't have a car to trade or a ride there. He eliminated that issue by delivering the car to my home for free. At that point, he had removed all my excuses for not buying one.

I appreciate my cheap Mirage more than ever these days thanks to Richard!

It's sad to see 0 Mirages in stock there!

For the sake of my curiosity, I'll ask the dealer if they will be getting anymore Mirage in transit soon, preferably with the stick. I shall know tomorrow. Hopefully 2023 model year will exist.

I asked and said they be getting more soon but unsure on the manual transmission option.

Not to change the subject but it looks like there will be a 2023 model year?

I just check WB and they now have some 2022 HBs and sedan but no manual. No mark up price from what I'm seeing.

I didn't realize until now that the Ford Festiva had 62 HP. Wow.

That's in the fancy fuel injected model. The older ones had 58!

The 1988-89 had carburetors & were 58 hp like Fummins said. The 1990-93 were fuel injected with 63 hp.

1988-93 Ford Festiva (designed by Mazda, built by KIA, sold by Ford) were tough little cars.

LOL... Those were Rocket Ships... And at least they had a Heater... My VW is 48 HP, so you plan your actions accordingly ...

I didn't know what to do, so I didn't do anything
