My rear headrests have been removed since I bought my Mirage in 2017. They still look brand new sitting in one of my bedroom closets. My rear passengers have been mostly dogs. If I used my Mirage for hauling people, I would use them.

Tonneau cover was pulled out right away, & it will never be used by me at least.

Yes. Lift the headrest up til it stops then hit the button to release it past that spot.

What he said. Plus in the G4, rear vision is better AND you can clean the rear window more easily with them out.

Some other markets outside the US and Canada have the lower profile headrests for the back seat. I would love to get some of those so visibility is better and we could fold the seats down without having to remove the headrests every time.

A lower profile rear headrest would be nice, because it could be adjusted to the height of the rear passenger when needed.

I really wish the rear seats were designed better. After flipping the back down, you should be able to flip/roll the entire seat down into the rear footwell area. It would create a perfectly flat floor space in the rear. I miss that from my 1990 Ford Festiva, but cars back then didn't have rear headrests in the way either.

I never used the rear seats folded completely backwards, but rolling the rear seats forward was great for hauling dogs or whatever in the back.
