That's a good deal! Less than $2/quart, & less than half the price of Super Tech.

I am able to pickup at my local Grainger for free. The shipping is delayed, but it is too cheap not to do. Essentially 7 oil changes with some to spare.

WOW. Superb, thanks for sharing. I have a local Grainger near me, this will probably become my go-to. As said, even with shipping it's cheaper than supertech.

These boxed oils are starting to become the king in value. I guess its like boxed wine

When Super Tech was under $15 for a 5 quart jug, it was a more noticeable deal compared to other brands. Now that it is $20.38 ($4.08/quart) for a jug, it's not priced much better than some other brands. For example, Quaker State full synthetic is $21.48 = $4.30/quart.

Buying a 12 quart box/bag of Super Tech full synthetic ($48.97 = $4.08/quart) doesn't save you anything either. It's the same price as the 5 quart jugs. I'd rather have the jugs to pour from and put my used oil into afterwards.

Thus, 6 gallons/24 quarts of full synthetic oil for under $50 is a good deal. $45.80 current price = $1.91/quart.

I no longer use 0W-20 oil in my Mirage, but this is a great deal!

There are other grades other than 0w-20 available!

I have enough empty oil jugs on hand already. I keep 5 or 6 empty jugs in a large box for used motor oil. My local county shop has a large tank for used oil. You just pour your used oil into the large tank. They don't want you leaving jugs of oil behind. I would use a clean jug to measure the bagged oil & pour it into my two vehicles.

I don't want to store large quantities of oil forever, but I would use it up over the course of a few years with two vehicles. My Forester takes 5 quarts, but I only do one oil change a year now that I drive my Mirage 90% of the time.

I don't over think the brand or grade of oil, because other countries recommend various oil grades for a Mirage. Steve's cheap plastic car did well (over 300,000+ miles) with 5W-30 conventional oil changed every 5,000 miles. I could be wrong, but I feel any full synthetic oil changed every 5,000 miles is going to do just as well or better.

Thus, I am talking myself into buying a 6 gallon box of this as I write this. For those who own multiple vehicles I could really see this as being a huge savings. I think a good quality full synthetic oil with a decent mid-grade oil filter makes my little Mirage happy!

Less than $2/quart for full synthetic oil catches my attention. Just like brand new Mirages selling for $7,500-9,000 did 5 years ago! I like a good deal!

Thanks for pointing that out Inuvik!

That's a crazy good deal. I typically buy a 1 gallon jug for $23-30(cad) when it's on sale at crappy tire. It looks like you can't buy that oil in California for some reason. Not vegan enough?
