    Question How to remove radio front panel/fascia?

    Hi,

    I'm just new here and a proud owner of a mitsu new space star, 1.0L.
    I bought the car without any radio, and now I would like to fit in an aftermarket 2din radio/nav/dvd player that I bought separately.

    Does anyone here have experience with removing the front panel/fascia/whatever it is called in English

    (this thing: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CT23MT15-...43b0ea7&_uhb=1 )

    Hi japiejo.

    Seriously, you can buy the car *without* a radio?

    I can't answer the question, but I bet someone will be able to.

    Welcome to the forum!

    Darin

    In the past on previous cars I just used to apply lots of pressure at strategic points and hope it came off in one piece. There are tool kits like this available

    Good, I need to know how to remove it as well. The front part up on top of the dash has a piece of felt or something sticking up that's bugging me, also I want to make way for a double din DVD eventually.

    Thanks a lot for your responses, much appreciated.

    @jid:
    "apply lots of pressure at strategic points and hope it came off in one piece."
    Thanks, but for this to work, I tend to need a lot of hoping dx.com is actually where I bought the double din DVD/radio/etc unit.

    @pureflipking
    I was indeed hoping for something like this
    " theres a clip behind the radio that you press to release the entire bezel."

    Thanks again!
