    poor mpg on fuelly?

What is up with some of the poor mirage MPG on fuelly? 2016 looks like an especially bad year from 14mpg average to 30 tops. Granted most of the reporters are in the Philippines. Do they use a different measurement there or something?

One person is supposedly averaging 14MPG over 384 fillups and only puts in a gallon or two at a time?

I've always noticed the economy numbers from the Philipenes are typically horrible. I'm gonna guess traffic sucks there? I don't know what's up with the person filling up a gallon at a time, maybe fuel theft is a big thing there?

Whenever I look at fuelly numbers I look at Canada numbers mostly and ignore the rest.

Some entries make even less sense https://www.fuelly.com/car/mitsubish...regevti/858675

With that horrible economy numbers it's enough to let the engine run while fueling up to be able to put an infinite amount of fuel in the tank.

I got better mileage than that back in the days when I was driving carburetor equipped big block V8's and cars that weighted 1.5- 2.5 tons. Looks like they'd realize there's something wrong driving a car with a 3 cylinder engine and only getting 13 MPG. I thought 13 was awful mileage with most V8's. The only car I ever had that didn't get 13 MPG on a regular basis was a Lincoln Mark IV with a 460 4bbl. In local driving the best I could usually do was somewhere between 10-11 MPG and about 14 on the highway if I kept the speed around 55 MPH.

I would assume those operators live in Metro Manila...
Heard from my Filipino friends that traffic has been an issue most of the time.
Mirage has been my championship since I started to drive at record of 16.5 to 17.3km/l average all around a year
Mine successfully achieved a tank, back and forth home to work, to complete 5 days for 600km in summer.
Even idling for 1.5 hrs a day in freezing temperature, I could still get 14.8 to 16.3 km/l....
