Good eye spotting it in the 1st place. You just saved yourself at least $5k in not having to put in a new CVT.

Or $1500. $500 for used cvt and $1000 for install including fluids. Add $3500 because covid.

The only drips I see under my vehicles is the water draining from the A/C system, which is totally normal. Just stating the simplest solution, which doesn't require a fix!
I drove my Saab convertible for the first time this spring and had to keep the top up because of the weather. I am only driving it with the top up because my brother used my MDX to take his family on a trip. Otherwise, it only comes out of the garage when it is sunny and warm. I had the climate control set to AUTO...normally don't use the heater/AC at all...and I noticed a puddle underneath it when it was parked. I was worried that it was coolant.

Turn out it was condensation from the AC...which I had never used before.

That's crazyness. Would you bother, or start over with a new car?
Oh and my mom is wondering how you want your eggs cooked.

Your Mom knows I like em over easy. I'm thinking breakfast in bed this morning so just ask her to bring them upstairs to her bedroom.

    Just an update:
The mail culprit of the leak was apparently a gasket seal, if that means anything to you guys. Apparently, one of the employees at the independent shop reused a gasket seal when he did the transmission fluid change, according to the owner of the shop. The seal was crushed and in pretty bad shape - hence the leak. A new seal should have been used at the time.

Very nice owner though, very apologetic. When they fixed the job, of course they put a new gasket seal in and topped up the fluid.

    >>>
Note: it turns out the dealership in town doesn't even change cvt filters when you request a transmission fluid change. Thus they don't even have the parts in stock - bizarre. Yet, that's in line with what you guys have been saying in other threads.
It's like they intentionally don't want their cars to last.
I don't recall what the warranty manual says - to replace the cvt filter or not. I'll have to look again.

They certainly don't waste any time though - trying to get my gf interested in some Mitsub. suv. when she talked to the parts/sales/service advisor guy (Yeah - he's all 3).
Gimme a break - this Mirage is only 2019. Desperate for sales or what...
